5:00–6:30 PM
We hope to see all of our Gator families at our annual Guion Gathering! This is a wonderful opportunity to:
-
Meet your child's teacher
-
Confirm your scholar's transportation plans
-
Drop off school supplies
-
Connect with school staff
-
Enjoy a cool treat on the playground!
Transportation Reminder
Transportation is an important part of your child's first day of school.
If your scholar will attend a daycare or childcare program before or after school, please make sure the correct address is on file with the school before the first day. Please also make sure the office staff and teacher are aware of this transportation need. Each year, Skyward defaults to home addresses. Daycare and after-school care must be updated every school year.
If you need to update transportation information or have questions, please contact:

Dress For Success
The standardized dress code consists of navy, black, gray, or khaki uniform pants and solid color collared polo shirts for both boys and girls. In addition, girls may wear navy, black, gray, or khaki jumpers or skorts. Proper shoe attire is also requested. Students need to wear appropriate gym shoes which help protect their feet while playing active games, etc. in PE classes as well as on the playground. Students are not permitted to wear open-toed, open-healed, or shoes with rollers or lights. Unfortunately, there should be no CROCS because the back heel is open.
Cell Phone & Smart Device New Policy Reminder
Indiana's new student wireless communication device law went into effect on July 1, 2026.
At the elementary level in Pike Township, students are expected to keep cell phones, smart watches, and any internet-connected devices powered off and stored in their backpacks throughout the school day. This helps minimize distractions and keeps students focused on learning.
We are looking forward to welcoming our Gators back for an amazing 2026-2027 school year! Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Enjoy the rest of your summer, stay safe, and we will see you soon!
